Teflon Mark

Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he was born and raised, Teflon Mark launched his professional rap career around 2011 after receiving encouragement from friends and especially the steadfast support of his stepfather to chase his ambitions. As he shaped his style, the artist drew influence from an array of Southern rap figures such as Lil' Boosie and Yo Gotti, releasing multiple singles and videos ahead of his debut album, Baby Drop, in 2017. That project featured several strong cuts, among them "Instagram," which included G-Nate and young rapper Tyreik. Later the same year Teflon Mark delivered the Troublesome Child, Vol. 1 mixtape, spotlighting the single "Drop."
