Biography
Originating along Sweden's southern shoreline, singer/songwriter Tekla issued a pair of critically acclaimed records in her native tongue during the mid-'90s. Seeking to broaden both her artistic reach and commercial prospects, she moved to English-language material for the songs that formed 1999's Somebody Else, marking her U.S. debut as well as her first release on Nettwerk Records.
