Teleplasmiste

U.K. experimental duo Teleplasmiste craft productions rooted in ambient, electronic, acoustic, drone, and noise elements. The lineup consists of writer, curator, publisher, and synth and electronics musician Mark O Pilkington alongside bagpipe and wind instrument specialist Michael J. York. The pair first linked through shared contacts Ossian Brown and Stephen Thrower of Cyclobe. Remote collaboration followed, as they exchanged track ideas while Pilkington operated from London and York worked from his rural residence in South West England. In 2017 they issued the full-length studio album Frequency Is the New Ecstasy.
