Biography
In 2003 the doom metal project TenHornedBeast emerged, operating in the loosest possible configuration as a solo venture helmed by U.K.-based musician, multi-instrumentalist, and ex-Endura member Christopher Walton. TenHornedBeast’s debut recording, Ten Stars -- Ten Horns, appeared the following year and was succeeded in 2005 by the second album, Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea. Activity ceased throughout 2006, yet Walton resurfaced in 2007 with the third full-length The Sacred Truth, once again showcasing his heavy-duty ambient approach. Momentum continued into 2008 when TenHornedBeast issued a split release alongside Marzuraan.
