Biography
Barcelona-based quintet Tercet Treset maintains the musical traditions of Europe and the Mediterranean region through its performances. The ensemble originated in 1979 as a trio that included violinist Enric Badal, clarinet and flute player Eduard Casals, and diatonic accordion player Jordi Roura. Two years after formation, flute player Eulalia Ros and drummer Dolors Molina joined, expanding the group. Considerable roster changes had taken place by the late '90s, leaving Badal as the sole original member. In the early part of 2002, Ramon Boixader on clarinet and drums, Pep LaFuente on guitar, David Farran on keyboards, Paton Felices on accordion, and Mon Cardona on castanets completed Tercet Treset.
