Terry Anderson

North Carolina singer/songwriter Terry Anderson first drew local notice for drumming and occasionally singing with the bar bands the Woods and the Fabulous Knobs. Wider recognition arrived when the Georgia Satellites recorded his song “Battleship Chains,” and the band’s frontman Dan Baird later launched his solo career with Anderson’s “I Love You Period.” Anderson issued his own debut album, the 1994 set You Don’t Like Me; What Else Can Go Right, which mixed unadorned rockers with roots-oriented acoustic pieces. Two years afterward came a follow-up, and the new millennium brought his third album, I’ll Drink to That.
