Biography
The Portuguese sextet ThanatoSchizo came together in Santa Marta De Penaguiao near the end of the 1990s, consisting of Eduardo Paulo, who contributes vocals and acoustic guitar, Patricia Rodrigues on vocals, Guilhermino Martins handling guitars, Miguel Angelo on bass, Filipe Miguel with keyboards, and Paulo Adelino on drums. Navigating an ambient-progressive dark metal trajectory positioned between the Gathering, Opeth, and territories further afield, the group issued their initial album ScizoLevel via Rage of Achilles Records in 2001, with their follow-up Insomnious Night Light arriving two years afterward.
