Biography
Travis Tucker and Jeff Linka launched Animal Beat as their pop/rock project toward the close of 2008. The Virginia natives devoted the following months to sharpening their songwriting skills and refining a musical direction that soon called for the enlistment of pianist David Graham, bassist Andrew Saunders, and drummer Paul Howard, thereby converting the outfit into a complete band. During 2009 the freshly assembled group put out its debut EP, the six-track indie-prog-pop work Ambient Jungle Noise.
