Biography
Emerging from the Chicago punk scene that had already produced Naked Raygun, Pegboy, Blue Meanies, and Alkaline Trio, The Arrivals released their first full-length album Goodbye New World on Thick Records in the Windy City during 2000. The South Side lineup of Issac Thotz on guitar and vocals, Dave Merriman on guitar, Dave Kaktis on bass, and Ronni Dicola on drums first assembled in 1996 and handled self-production duties on the EP Songs from the Cabal Headquarters, their sound reflecting an amalgam of earlier Midwestern influences. After the Northern Hospitality single surfaced in mid-2002, the group returned early the following year with their sophomore album Exsenator Orange.
