Biography
Awesome Wells formed as a punk-pop trio from England that adopted a riot grrrl aesthetic before launching their recording career in 2008. Drawing from Elastica, Veruca Salt, and Sleater-Kinney, the Liverpool-based group features Sarah Kerton on vocals and bass, Nadine Davenport on guitar, and Kit-Cat Mackinlay on drums. Their first output arrived that year as the four-track EP Bitch Poets, released via the independent label Filthy Little Angel.
