Biography
Swiss rapper The Bandit, born Patrick Mitidieri and long based in Glarus, Switzerland, first gained notice as half of the duo Luut & Tüütli alongside Shpoiz, whose birth name is Michel Zweifel. That pair issued their initial commercial recording, the Und Überhaupt... EP, in 2003, then delivered their debut full-length album, Als Chänteds Bärge Versetzä, two years afterward in 2005. Branching out on his own, The Bandit signed with the Nation Music imprint and released his first solo album, Dr Letscht Wos Git, in 2008; the project yielded the single “Mir Sind” and climbed into the Top 20 of the Swiss albums chart. His sophomore effort, Zrugg Id Zuäkunft, arrived in 2010, spawned the single “Dschungelmusig,” and advanced to the Top Ten while showcasing guest appearances by Franky Kubrick, Lou Geniuz, Phenomden, Shpoiz, and Miss Platnum.
