Biography
Hailing from Boston, the indie/punk outfit the Beatings features Erin Dalbec on vocals and bass, Eldridge Rodriguez on vocals and guitar, Tony Skalicky on vocals and guitar, and Dennis Grabowski on drums. The four-piece band draws comparisons to respected alternative acts such as the Pixies, Husker Du, and Superchunk, and has so far released two recordings on the Midriff label: the 2001 EP 6 HZ and the 2002 full-length Italiano.
