Biography
Rob Kudyba started performing across clubs, bars and assorted venues in the Northeast beginning in the eighties. His rock band The Bee Zoo advanced to a fresh stage in 1997 by issuing Boobalah, which gathered a set of driving modern-rock tunes. The album delivers an electrifying presentation of guitar-driven sound, with Rob Kudyba joined by drummer Bryn Mutch and David Chirico supplying bass and backing vocals. Dingo Records recording artist Daniel James supplied additional finesse musical assistance, while Chad MacDonald contributed further bass tracks. The Boston-based Dingo Records had already issued two albums by Daniel James & the Breed. Realizing that managing every step alone was impossible, Rob Kudyba enlisted trusted friends who supplied guidance and inspiration throughout the writing, recording, mixing and production of the album. The workload proved too much to handle as one person. Boobalah follows his eponymous three-song 1996 cassette. That earlier collection generated a buzz among southern New England media, securing airplay on several FM stations and reviews in multiple publications.
