The Birdwatcher

Dan Matz, the guitarist and vocalist for Windsor for the Derby, also recorded solo material under the name the Birdwatcher as a vehicle for his more intimate, personal songs. Arena Rock issued the Birdwatcher's first album, The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn, toward the close of 2000. The next year Matz delivered another set under that same alias, Afternoon Tales the Morning Never Knew.
