Biography
Formed in 1996, the Boils issued a steady stream of EPs and compilation tracks over the ensuing years and helped transplant the UK street punk sound to their hometown of Philadelphia. Drawing inspiration from Blitz, the Business, the Anti-Heros and Stiff Little Fingers, the band placed its first self-titled CDEP with Creep Records in 1998. Cyclone Records followed with a full-length bearing the same title the next year, after which World Poison arrived two years later.
