The Captain

In 2005 the British rock ensemble Captain assembled in London, with Rik Flynn and Clare Szembek supplying lead vocals. Its moody, catchy pop has invited favorable comparisons to such iconic groups as the Beautiful South, Joy Division, Psychedelic Furs, My Bloody Valentine, and others. Captain issued its debut album, This Is Hazelville, on EMI in 2006 after receiving production assistance from Trevor Horn, the former singer of Buggles and Yes.
