Biography
Emerging as a traditional jazz ensemble in the mid-1940s, the group sustained its recording activity through the close of the 1950s. Bob Scobey, George Brunis, and Bob Short were among the musicians who passed through its ranks at different stages. Although Portland hosted the bulk of their work, further sessions occurred in Los Angeles and Pasadena.
