Biography
Operating out of Los Angeles, California, USA, the ensemble drew on veteran studio players—guitarist Mike Deasy, keyboardist Larry Knetchel and bassist Joe Osborn—to accompany vocalist and guitarist Lybuk Hyd across the album Tanyet. This rambling collection drew admiration from certain critics, who have hailed it as a psychedelic-era landmark. Drumming came from Deasy’s son Sean, and guitarist Ry Cooder contributed to several tracks, thereby elevating the record’s standing in the collectors’ market.
