Biography
The Civil Tones, an organ-driven four-piece ensemble, craft groove-oriented sounds steeped in the styles of the 1950s and 1960s, drawing extensively from legendary acts like Booker T. & the MG's, the Ventures, along with additional influences. This group, which includes Patti Loth on vocals, Robin Allen handling guitar, Dave Hilditch on bass, John Holt at the keyboard, and John Kosla behind the drums, has put out several recordings through Pravda Records such as Rotisserie Twist from 1996, Soul Bucket in 1998, and Vodka and Peroxide dating to 2003.
