The Color Red

Formed in 1994, The Color Red emerged as an edgy five-piece outfit from Southern California. Early performances alongside acts such as No Doubt and the Deftones marked their initial phase, though their first studio effort, Below the Under, only came together in 1999. Issued the next year, that release prompted extensive touring, which strengthened their interpersonal bonds and overall cohesion as a unit. Sufficient new songs had accumulated by 2002 to support a sophomore album, leading to the summer launch of Clear.
