Biography
Hailing from Tabernacle, New Jersey, the Concubine deliver death metal defined by matching degrees of brutality and complexity, avoiding the commercial shortcuts and melodic hooks common among most other Garden State acts. Established in 2003, the band has logged extensive road time supporting groups including Evergreen Terrace, Pyosipus, and additional acts while issuing the 2004 EP Maestro, If You Will and the 2006 full-length Abaddon. For the latter release the Concubine’s roster included vocalist Dave Stahl, guitarists Dan Pilla and Kyle Smith, bassist Jeff Herron, and drummer Matt Digise.
