Biography
Consequences, an epic indie rock ensemble from Sweden, comprises Richard Ankers on drums, Mattias Areskog on bass, Jonas Heijkenskjöld handling vocals and guitars, Åsa Jacobsson at the keyboards, and Daniel Jansson on guitar. Areskog composed a substantial body of songs that prompted friends to encourage him to assemble the group. Before forming, the musicians had toured and recorded with an array of Swedish acts such as Marit Bergman, Frida Hyvönen, Melody Club, Anna Ternheim, Peter Bjorn and John, and Mattias Hellberg. The band's self-titled debut appeared in November 2006 on Bow/Groover, with Ronald Bood (Mando Diao, Shout Out Louds) serving as producer.
