Active during the mid-1970s until the early 1980s, the little-known jazz-rock outfit Cos operated under the leadership of Pascale Son, who supplied vocals and oboe. Fellow members comprised Daniel Schell on flute and guitar, Bob Darsch on drums, Alain Goutier on bass, and Charles Loos on keyboards. The quintet characterized its approach as a "mixture of jazz and Canterbury" and issued the albums Postaeolian Train Robbery, Viva Bomma, Babel, Swiss Chalet, and Passions before disappearing.
