Biography
In 1977 vocalist Steve Ingle and guitarist Luther Maben launched this American blues-rooted boogie outfit. Keyboardist Hal Butler, bassist James Flynn and drummer Chip Thomas were soon brought aboard, securing the group a deal with Asylum Records. Their debut album, issued under the band’s own name in 1978, stood out for the track “Time And Time Again,” a sprawling southern-flavored guitar showcase on par with Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Freebird.” Insufficient media exposure prompted the ensemble to disband shortly after the record appeared.
