Biography
Craig Gordon and David "Letdown" Bolt, multi-instrumentalists based in Los Angeles, began collaborating in the late ‘90s when they formed a left-field hip-hop duo. Their sound later shifted into an atmospheric, introspective mix of laptop electronica and Bolt's layered keyboards, augmented by Gordon's dreamy shoegazer-style guitar and vocals in the style of Interpol. Adopting the name the Delta Mirror, the pair recruited bassist Karrie K. and secured a contract with the Lefse label. Released in early 2010, their debut album Machines That Listen functioned as a concept record with each track situated in a separate room of an imaginary hospital.
