Biography
In the sleepy confines of Port Huron, Michigan, where the only pastimes involved drinking and blasting the Stooges, four musicians decided to launch a glass-shattering, unruly rock outfit. That impulse brought together Screamin' Joe Burdick on bass and vocals, Nick Lloyd behind the drums, Larry TerBush on guitar and vocals, and Marc Watt on guitar when they formed The Dirtys in early 1996. Their habit of demolishing stages and earning the occasional bar ban drew Crypt Records' interest, prompting the label to issue the group's debut album You Should Be Sinnin' in 1997.
