Biography
The Earth Orchestra, also known as THEEO, functions as a global orchestral initiative dedicated to fostering worldwide unity via performances featuring one musician from each nation. Launched in 2018, the endeavor enlisted English composer George Fenton—renowned for his film scores including Gandhi and The Fisher King, as well as television works such as Blue Planet and Planet Earth—to compose its inaugural composition. Titled "Together Is Beautiful," the piece was captured at Abbey Road Studios in London alongside performers hailing from 58 nations, while supplementary contributions from international artists were tracked from remote locations. Both the composition and a matching documentary film sharing its title appeared in 2020.
