Biography
This vocal ensemble issued a pair of singles during the early 1960s on Symbol, the Sue label's subsidiary imprint. The tracks were "Shimmy Shimmy Shimmy Sherry" backed with "You Stole My Heart Away," both written or co-written by Phil Medley (the second also with James Stewart Jr. of the Ravens), together with "Limbo Lucy" on one side and "Make A Bulldog Hug A Mule" on the other. Membership included Jerry Hayward, who received separate billing on the opening release, Robert Leak, James McCauthin, David Cox, and Herbie Hancock, distinct from the jazz-rock crossover figure of the same name.
