Biography
In the closing years of the 1990s, Neil Mathis II—professionally known as rapper, producer, and frontman Jesto—assembled the Southern rap outfit the Faculty alongside Ro-Stylez, Currency, and Judo. Based in Atlanta, the quartet performed regularly across local venues until the newly launched JamTam Entertainment discovered them and signed the four members in 2001 as the label’s first act. Their sole album, Group Therapy, included a guest spot from old-school veteran Father MC and appeared toward the end of that year before Orchard Records reissued it in 2002.
