Biography
Formed in Toronto, Canada, around 1979, the rock band Fictions included guitarists Vince Kavcic and W.S. Sherman, bassist Greg Stephens, drummer Vince Huecking, keyboardist Tom Treumuth, and saxophonist Simon Stone. Existing only briefly, the group issued two double-sided singles featuring the tracks "I Let Go," "Won't Wash Away," "Snob Appeal," and "Better," plus one self-titled full-length album, with every recording appearing in 1980 on the Hypnotic Records label.
