Biography
Since the late 2000s, prolific Glasgow-based experimental musician Richard Youngs has incorporated the vocal and instrumental contributions of his son Sorley into his recordings. Youngs joined frequent collaborator Andrew Paine to establish the experimental noise-punk band the Flexibles, whose tracks combine free-form thrashing with Sorley's stream-of-consciousness poetry centered on space and dreaming. The trio first appeared on the 2014 7" EP Cities of the Narrow Universe, issued by Nyali Recordings, before delivering their debut LP, Pink Everything, via Night School in 2016.
