Biography
Prior to securing a contract with Benson Records, the CCM ensemble Forty Days—whose members included Mark Warren, Joel Warren, Brian Barth, Chris Foster, and Drue Phillips—had already cultivated a following in their native Dallas, TX. Established in 1995, the group issued two self-financed recordings and appeared at shows throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, and Tennessee. An introduction to Third Day frontman Mac Powell ultimately paved the way for their label agreement. The band’s first official outing, Everyday, surfaced in 2000.
