Biography
In the latter part of the 1960s, Capitol issued an LP by The Four King Cousins titled Introducing...The King Cousins. Their bright yet unremarkable layered vocal harmonies were paired with easy listening backings across a collection that mainly featured interpretations of contemporary successes from acts like the Beach Boys, the Beatles, and Herb Alpert.
The quartet—Tina Cole, Cathy Cole, Carolyn Thomas, and Candy Wilson—shared a family connection as cousins, each being offspring of the renowned King Sisters, who had achieved fame as a vocal ensemble during the 1930s and 1940s.
Additionally, the group performed on The King Family Show, the variety program aired on network television and fronted by the King Sisters.
Beyond her work with The Four King Cousins, Tina Cole gained her greatest recognition through portraying Don Grady's spouse on the situation comedy My Three Sons.
