Biography
Mike Patto's earliest band tie came through The Frays, before his later stints with Timebox and his own solo path, though that link rests more on speculation than confirmed record. During 1965 the lineup placed two singles with English Decca; one of them, a version of "Hang on Sloopy" that placed Nicky Hopkins at the piano, never reached the charts. Even so, the reverse side of their first single, "Keep Me Covered," remains their strongest cut and continues to be viewed as a genuine mid-'60s British R&B standout.
