Biography
Blending garage punk with outlandish performance art and costumes, vocalists Phantom Creeper, bassist Dom Nation, guitarist Buh Zombie, and drummer Beau Grumpus achieved legendary standing in their hometown of Gary, IN, under the name the Goblins. The outfit first surfaced around 1995 when Wont Go Flat Record issued Giant Robot Rock'n'Roll, after which the group made repeated incursions into Chicago while steadily assembling a catalog of releases. Those recordings eventually encompassed Summer in the Hood (Wont Go Flat, 1997), Millennium (Truckstop/Atavistic 1998), and Missing Fits (My Pal God Records, 2001).
