Biography
Forming as an indie rock quintet in 1998, the Gunga Din began shaping their quirky New York supplements through the fusion of Farfisa organ textures and psychedelic drumming. Vocalist Siobhan Duffy, guitarist Bill Bronson, bassist Chris Pravdica, drummer Jim Sclavunos, and keyboardist Maria Zastrow make up the lineup, which secured a Jetset contract and delivered its debut album Introducing the Gunga Din in 1999. Glitterati arrived the following year.
