Biography
The Haints function as an alternative country outlet centered on Kepi, singer and bassist for Groovie Ghoulies. The lineup unites the entire Groovie Ghoulies trio—Kepi, drummer Scampi, and guitarist Roach—with guitarist Cory Vick and percussionist David Houston. Kepi launched the project in 2004 to give Groovie Ghoulies more opportunities for nearby performances, and the Haints issued their debut album Hurt & Alone that same year. Although Kepi maintained a demanding routine that encompassed touring, running Green Door Records, writing, and painting, the Haints resurfaced in 2007 with Battle of Wounded Heart.
