The Hatters

On the New York City club circuit, The Hatters made their mark through a fusion of blues-tinged rock, high-energy funk grooves, and folk touches. Atlantic signed the band in 1993 and issued Live Thunderchicken, assembled from those stage shows. Their debut, The Madcap Adventures of the Avocado Overlord, arrived in March 1994. The lineup features Adam Hirsh on vocals and guitar, Adam Evans on guitar and vocals, Billy Jay Stein on keyboards and vocals, Jon Kaplan on bass, and Tommy Kaelin on drums.
