The Honeydogs

Hailing from Minneapolis's vibrant music community, the Honeydogs initially formed around singer/guitarist Adam Levy, previously of the Picadors, his brother Noah on drums, who also played in Golden Smog, and bassist Trent Norton. Their first release, a self-titled 1995 album, established their twangy garage-pop approach. After Tommy Borscheid joined as second guitarist, the band headed back to the studio for the follow-up, 1996's Everything, I Bet You. They later signed with Mercury's Debris imprint and issued 1997's Seen a Ghost, their strongest recording to that point. Here's Luck appeared in early 2001.
