Biography
Emerging from Los Angeles as an American alternative rock outfit, the Human Value first gained recognition by captivating audiences across London, England. Comprising Turu on vocals and keyboards, Hiram Fleites handling guitar and vocals, along with James Hazley on drums and percussion, the trio earned acclaim from numerous British rock journalists, highlighted by coverage in the NME. Turu and Fleites, who previously gained experience through outfits like Kittens for Christian and the Send Effect, established the band. Their strong live performances formed the core of their appeal, which they successfully translated into recorded material. The year 2005 saw the release of their debut album, Human Value, which garnered similar positive responses, paving the way for the subsequent sophomore effort, Push and Pull.
