Biography
The Intended, a Detroit garage rock quartet, comprises Kevin Boyer, Larry Williams, and Heath Moerland from Tyvek together with Glen Morren, who shares duties with Moerland in the improv freakout collective Odd Clouds. Their sound stays rough and noisy in the manner of Tyvek yet sometimes drifts from punk roots into psych-pop terrain. The band coalesced in the early 2010s, playing shows throughout Detroit before issuing a live cassette on All Gone, the label co-run by Chris Durham and Travis Galloway of Roachclip. After several years of intermittent gigs and the 2014 appearance of the 7" single "Huguenot," practice-session tapes recorded in Durham’s basement were mastered for the debut full-length Time Will Tell, which In the Red released in November 2016.
