Biography
Dan, Rod, and Chuck comprise the Jacobs Brothers, a trio of skilled jazz performers who spent years appearing separately throughout Michigan and farther afield before forming a professional partnership. Although they had often jammed together on an informal basis, the group ultimately chose to undertake a shared project, recruiting several session musician colleagues for support. During summer 2002 the Jacobs Brothers issued Jazz Standard Time and launched a series of casual, lighthearted engagements in their native Ann Arbor, Michigan.
