Biography
Klingonz, a psychobilly outfit from the U.K., came together in 1988. Its founding members included Titch handling vocals, Doyley on guitar, Strangy playing bass, and Mocker behind the drums. The band cut its debut record, Psycho's from Beyond, in 1990 and embarked on tours across Europe and Japan. Upon completing their follow-up effort Blurb, Strangy departed the lineup to play with Karloff, the band led by his sibling. Bass duties then fell to Eddie, allowing Klingonz to persist with its touring and recording schedule, which yielded four more albums prior to Doyley's exit and the arrival of Mick on guitar. Doyley and Strangy subsequently established Celtic Bones together. Following a short break, the original quartet reunited in 2001. In 2003, they issued The Best of Klingonz and Up Uranus, a compilation of hits that also incorporated fresh tracks.
