Biography
In late 2003 the Los Angeles outfit 'Lectric Chairs ended their unofficial status by releasing the Sparkolounger EP on Dionysus. Marsh Gooch supplied vocals and guitar, Loren Molinare (ex-Dogs) handled lead guitar, Jose Ferro played bass, and Bob Terry sat behind the drums; on their first outing the quartet produced a noisy, unkempt style that aligned them with garage-minded revivalists such as the Oblivians and Red Planet. The EP's standout cut was their salacious tribute "Janet Weiss," written for Sleater-Kinney's drummer.
