Biography
The Lemmings originated in Tampa, Florida in 1998, built around Eric Del Castillo handling vocals and guitar, bassist Fish, guitarist Michael Kusheba, and drummer Richard Belinc. Their compositions span melodies from straightforward pop structures to the sharper contours of alternative rock, complemented by plain and pure lyrics that Del Castillo, the frontman, writes in the majority of cases. The quartet has cultivated a steadfast and engaged audience over the years. Del Castillo and Belinc first encountered each other in childhood, forging a deep connection to music that led them to establish the Florida group as its founding pair. After several months performing in Tampa venues and attracting meaningful notice, the band entered the studio for its debut recording. Follow reached stores in 2000, earning substantial praise and clearing the route to another extended touring cycle.
