Originating in Atlanta, GA, The Letters Organize functioned as a spastic post-hardcore quintet launched in 2002. Its roster included Brent Jay on vocals, Garrett Range covering bass and vocals, Donnie Adkinson behind the drums, and guitarists Casey Maxwell and Zach Hinkle. Occasional comparisons linked the band to Scatter the Ashes or cast it as the younger sibling of the Blood Brothers, with its urgent approach anchored in fierce guitars, intense drumbeats, abrasive vocals, and the collective knack for halting and resuming with razor precision. Brand New Records put out two 2003 items from the group: the Cure 7" and the Everybody Goes Yeah...Bash! EP. March 2005 brought the caustic Nitro debut Dead Rhythm Machine, which drew positive reviews. Live dates ensued, yet by the close of 2006 the members chose to disband.
