Biography
Following the 1996 dissolution of American doom metal legends Trouble, vocalist Eric Wagner partnered with British guitarist Danny Cavanagh of Anathema to launch the transatlantic psychedelic hard rock outfit Lid. Brothers Tim on bass and Tommy Reeves on drums completed the quartet, which captured its sole release of trippy acid rock as the 1998 album In the Mushroom. Although speculation about a subsequent record continued, none ever surfaced, and Eric Wagner died on August 22, 2021 at the age of 62.
