Biography
Emerging from the Bay Area, garage-rock outfit the Lies coalesced out of the Bonnot Gang’s remains. This reunion brought vocalist Dale Shaw, guitarist Sadie Shaw and drummer Sarah Reed back together alongside bassist Casey Ward and drummer Tracy Sawyer, the latter formerly one half of the now-legendary Heavens to Betsy. Their appearance on Kill Rock Stars’ Mailorder Freak Singles Club arrived just prior to the 1999 full-length debut Underdogs and Infidels.
