Biography
Formed in Britain during the late 1980s, the Loafers emerged as a ska-revival outfit long after the Two-Tone era that shaped their style. John Bradbury, known for drumming with the Specials and the Selecter, championed the group early on and took on production roles for numerous tracks. Laurel Aitken enlisted them as a backing ensemble following their appearance at a ska event held at the London Astoria.
