Biography
An experimental trio drawing from roots music, the Lune first formed with Jeff Goddard, Brad White, and Mark Romano as its members. During the majority of the 1990s, the ensemble maintained a modest visibility while refining their unique approach to jazz and blues through multiple singles released on independent labels, one of which was a split single featuring bassist Goddard's Karate project. The year 1998 saw the release of their debut full-length album, On the Cutting Room Floor, via Aesthetics Records, alongside the EP Sill. Shortly thereafter, Goddard departed, leaving White and Romano to proceed as a duo.
